Women's Sunday Morning Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study on Sunday morning is going to begin a new study. We will be going through "The Story." "The Story" is the actual, God-breathed words of the Bible. Each chapter was thoughtfully and carefully excerpted and then placed in chronological order. The texts were chosen to retain the overall flow of the narrative, so that when you read this story, you will get a sense of the "big picture" of the Bible. Here are some examples of what is covered:
Chapter 1: The Beginning of Life as We Know It (Genesis 1 - 4; 6 - 9)
Chapter 2: God Builds a Nation (Genesis 12 - 13; 15 - 17; 21 - 22; 32 - 33; 35; Romans 4; Hebrews 11
Chapter 22: The Birth of the King (Matthew 1 - 2; Luke 1 - 2; John 1)
Chapter 30: Paul's Final Days (Acts 20 - 23; 27 - 28; Ephesians 1-6; 2 Timothy 1 - 4)
We will cover a chapter a week (approximately 10 pages) and discuss it in the class. The cost of the book is $8.
A newly designed program for children grades K-3rd grade has begun on Sunday February 3, 2008.
This Bible Based curriculum will include a lesson, snack and children's fellowship. Children will be asked to meet with their Sunday Team Leaders following the music worship portion of our weekly service. For further details, see Cindy Hoffman and/or Regan Reeder.
