Clothing Items Needed

 

The Clothes Closet is a clothing ministry designed to help members of MCC and the community by providing free clothes to help relieve the burden on family budgets.

 

Who may receive clothing?

Anyone is welcome to receive clothing from the Clothes Closet!  There are no economic requirements.  Having free clothing available my ease the strain on tight family budgets.

 

What are the costs?

All clothing is offered free of charge. Clients are simply asked to take what they can use for themselves and their families.

 

What is available?

Clothing is available for children (sizes newborn - young adult), and adults.  We have a special sections for juniors sizes, plus sizes, and limited maternity wear.  Shoes and outerwear are also available in the Clothes Closet.  Other household necessities such as bed linens and baby blankets may be available upon request.

Appointments can be made by calling the church office at 412-372-1333 or by emailing us at clothes-closet@hotmail.com.

 

How can I help?

We're always looking for volunteers to assist clients at appointments.  Some items such as new underwear (in all sizes), socks, toiletries and plus size clothing (for men and women) are always accepted.  At this time, shelves are fully stocked with all other items, but please look for notice in the bulletin and our website when we begin collection drives in the future.   Please contact us at clothes-closet@hotmail.com if you are interested in volunteering or have questions about donations.
