"Discovering MCC " Class 101
Membership Class

At MCC, your first step to connectedness is to find out more about us through CLASS 101. Being a part of a church family is actually one of God's purposes for your life.  Class 101 will cover: The Symbols of Salvation: Baptism & Lord's Supper; Our Purpose Statement; Our Mission Statement; Our Vision Statement; Our Priorities; How & Why our Church is Structured; What it Means to be a Member of Monroeville Community Church.  This class will begin October 22nd from 6:30 pm - 8 pm.!

A Call To Action
Seeking Nursery Wokers

MCC is in need of volunteers to work in the nursery, toddler and 3-5 year old romms during Sunday morning worship.

If you are a member of MCC and a parent who utilizes these services, or you are a loving, nurturing caregiver, we would be blessed to have you volunteer your time in the nursery.

We do it for you, but we can't do it without you!  We need your help to help maintain this invaluable service that we provide!

All that is required is a joyful passion for children and a desire to encourage a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by sharing your heart with the youngest members of our congregation.

Steel Sharpens Steel

Steel Sharpens Steel Steel Sharpens Steel (MCC's Men's Group) meets this Sunday night at 6 pm.  They will be starting the Chasing Daylight bible study.   Pizza and drinks will be served to all those who attend starting at 6pm.  Donations will be accepted to offset the cost of the pizza and drinks.

All Men, single or married, of ALL ages, younger or older, are invited to join us for a time of Inspiration, Motivation & Fellowship as men.

Chasing Daylight is a biblical account of Israel's war with the Philistines (1 Samuel 13 - 14) and the characters of Jonathan and Saul to demonstrate the differences between living  a life of purpose and adventure, and living one of apathy and missed opportunity.

Through this story, Chasing Daylight artfully illustrates the eight characteristics of an adventurer's heart, what it calls the "Jonathan factor."

Chasing Daylight uses powerful examples, along with with fresh biblical teaching to assert that God crafts divine moments specific to each of us - priceless opportunities for us to actively engage in God's big-picture plan.
Midweek Worship & Prayer
Pause to Pray

Pause to PrayWorship and prayer are two of the most important things we can do to let God know that we love Him.  Every Wednesday MCC gathers together for just that purpose, to worship and pray together as a church family.  Come join us Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM as we spend time together with God.

Christmas Musical

Finding the Christmas StarThis year's Christmas musical/drama will be for both children and youth 1st through 12th grade.

Rehearsals will be every Sunday morning in the church Fellowship Hall during the morning worship hour.  They will also be meeting every Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM - 8 PM.

Special extended practices will be announced as they are coming up & a schedule of practices will be sent to everyone.
