Quarterly Business
Meeting
This
Sunday we will be having our Quarterly Business
Meeting immediately follow our Morning
Worship. At this meeting we will be voting
on a recommendation to bring MCC member Richie
Reeder on staff in a full-time paid
internship. All members of Monroeville
Community Church are encouraged to attend.

Operation Christmas
Child
 Operation Christmas Child brings joy and
hope to children in desperate situations worldwide
through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News
of God's love. This year MCC will be taking
part in this venture through the giving of a shoe
box to those children that are less
fortunate. For more details please pick a
brochure in the church lobby. Just follow
the instructions on the brochure, then drop off
your shoe box at Chic-Fil-A on November 11th and
get a coupon for a free chicken sandwich or you
can bring your shoebox to the church on Sunday
November 16th to be dedicated before we ship them
out. |
Steel Sharpens
Steel
Steel Sharpens Steel (MCC's Men's Group)
will meet Sunday night at 6 pm. We will be
continuing the "Chasing Daylight" bible
study. Note:
For those men who ordered a "Chasing Daylight"
book, you can pick it up after church on Sunday or
at the meeting Sunday night.
All
Men, single or married, of All Ages, younger or
older, are invited to join us for a time of
Inspiration, Motivation and Fellowship as
men. Steel Sharpens Steel meets the 2nd and
4th Sunday evenings, from September -
May. |
Ladies Cookie
Exchange
Attention Ladies! On December 7th the
women of MCC will be sharing in a cookie
exchange. To participate you will need to
make 2 dozen homemade cookies for each person that
is going to participate, you will be responsible
for the cost of making your own
cookies.
There is a sign up sheet taped to
the window of the Church Office. Please put
what kind of cookie you will be making along with
an e-mail/phone number to contact you for the
final number of people participating.

Worship & Prayer

Pray
 Worship and
prayer are two of the most important things we can
do to let God know that we love Him. Every
Wednesday MCC gathers together for just that
purpose, to worship and pray together as a church
family. Come join us Wednesday evenings at
6:45 PM as we spend time together with
God.
