Operation Christmas
Child
 Operation Christmas Child brings joy and
hope to children in desperate situations worldwide
through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News
of God's love. This year MCC will be taking
part in this venture through the giving of a shoe
box to those children that are less
fortunate. This coming Sunday we will be
dedicating the boxes before we send them
off. So bring your show box with you and we
will take care of the
rest.

Youth Fall
Retreat
Please
pray for the youth of MCC as they are away on
their fall retreat this weekend, they leave Friday
evening at 6:30 pm and return on Sunday around 4
pm.
Pray that God would speak to them
through their guest speaker, Greg Smedley, Greg is
the Youth (Student) Pastor from Discovery
Christian Church in Cranberry PA. Greg will
be leading several Bible Studies throughout the
weekend and have many opportunities to share with
the teens.
Sunday morning will also be a
special time for them as they visit the Flight 993
Memorial in Somerset, PA. Pray that God
would move in the hearts of these teens and that
He would build them up to lead the next generation
for
Christ.

Annual Youth Turkey
Bowl
The Youth
(grades 7 - 12) will be getting together
November 23rd at 3 PM on the field beside Mosside
Middle School to play a game of Flag
Football. This is a friendly game for both
Guys and Gals.
Youth are encouraged to come
out and join us and to invite their friends.
Following the game we will go and grab some
Pizza. Parents can pick up their kids at
around 6:30 pm.

Steel Sharpens
Steel
Steel Sharpens Steel (MCC's Men's Group)
will meet Sunday November 30th at 6 pm. We
will be continuing the "Chasing Daylight" bible
study. Note:
For those men who ordered a "Chasing Daylight"
book, you can pick it up after church on Sunday or
at the meeting Sunday night.
All
Men, single or married, of All Ages, younger or
older, are invited to join us for a time of
Inspiration, Motivation and Fellowship as
men. Steel Sharpens Steel meets the 2nd and
4th Sunday evenings, from September -
May. |
Ladies Cookie
Exchange
Attention Ladies! On December 7th the
women of MCC will be sharing in a cookie
exchange. To participate you will need to
make 2 dozen homemade cookies for each person that
is going to participate, you will be responsible
for the cost of making your own
cookies.
There is a sign up sheet taped to
the window of the Church Office. Please put
what kind of cookie you will be making along with
an e-mail/phone number to contact you for the
final number of people participating.

Worship & Prayer

 Worship and
prayer are two of the most important things we can
do to let God know that we love Him. Every
Wednesday MCC gathers together for just that
purpose, to worship and pray together as a church
family. Come join us Wednesday evenings at
6:45 PM as we spend time together with
God.
