Finding the Christmas
Star

 The Christmas Star
competition is the highlight of the Christmas
season at Douglas Fir Middle School.
Although when bitter coach Chris Masader tries to
ruin their important rehearsal by taking over the
auditorium, an amazing thing happens, he begins to
see that Christmas is more than just hustle and
bustle and that God has set a plan in motion to
remind him of who he is and what he was made
for. This years Christmas Musical will be
presented by the children & youth of MCC
(grades 1-12).
Following the musical we
will be having a time of fellowship. Please
bring an appetizer (last name A to M) or dessert
(last name N to Z) to share. MCC will
provide the drinks.

Wednesday, December 24th at

Midweek Activities
There will be
no activities going on at the church on Wednesday,
December the 24th and Wednesday, December the 31st
due to them being Christmas Eve and New Years
Eve. All Wednesday evening activities
will resume January
7th.

Coming In
January
- January 6th: Richie Reeder
begins serving full-time on our church staff as
Ministry Associate.
- January 11th - 31st: Awakening
- 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Watch for more
information!
- Late January: TEAM KID (Kids in
Discipleship) for children grades 1-3 and 4-6 on
Wednesday nights.
- Coming in late January MCC kids
(starting with 4th grade) and youth (grades
7-12) will begin preparing for an Easter Drama
and Music. More details to
come!
