What We Believe

God

There is only one living and true God – the creator and ruler of the universe. This eternal and triune God reveals Himself to us as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, with distinct personalities, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Man

Man is created by God and made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

MCC is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention network of churches but is non-denominational in our style, approach and philosophy! Our goal is not to make fully devoted “Baptists”…but to make “fully devoted disciples and followers” of Jesus Christ!
